Terms of Service
Last updated: 2025
These Terms form a contract between you and Pocket Irrigator for your use of our mobile app and website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and ourPrivacy Policy.
1) What the service does
Pocket Irrigator helps irrigation pros document properties, draw maps, record voice notes, generate transcripts, and get AI‑powered assistance. We aim for accuracy, but you are responsible for verifying results and complying with local codes and standards.
2) Your account
- Keep your credentials secure and accurate.
- You’re responsible for activity on your account.
- We may suspend or end accounts for misuse or policy violations.
3) Acceptable use
- No illegal activity, harassment, scraping, or attempts to disrupt or overload the service.
- Do not upload content you don’t have rights to share.
- Get consent before recording others. Some U.S. states require all‑party consent to record.
4) AI, mapping, and usage quotas
Our AI and mapping features use third‑party providers whose costs can fluctuate. To keep the service reliable for everyone, we set fair‑use quotas and may change quotas, rate limits, or feature availability. We will provide reasonable notice for material, adverse changes when feasible. For paid plans, changes typically take effect on the next billing cycle.
5) Subscriptions and auto‑renewal
- Plans are billed in advance and auto‑renew until you cancel.
- We clearly disclose price, frequency, and how to cancel at checkout.
- You can cancel anytime; access continues through the period you paid for.
- If a trial is offered, you’ll be told when it ends and what you’ll be charged.
- We comply with applicable laws on subscriptions and cancellations.
6) Payments and taxes
You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for your subscription and any applicable taxes. Pricing may change with notice.
7) Your content
You own the content you add (customers, properties, photos, maps, notes). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content to operate the service. You’re responsible for ensuring you have rights to the content you upload.
8) Third‑party services
We rely on trusted providers (e.g., Supabase, Mapbox, AI vendors, email, payments). Their terms may apply in addition to ours. For example, Mapbox limits redistribution of offline tiles.
9) Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, and do not guarantee error‑free operation or uninterrupted availability.
10) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we and our suppliers won’t be liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any amount greater than the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
11) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we’ll provide notice (for example, in‑app, by email, or at sign‑in) and the effective date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes. If you don’t agree, you should stop using the service and cancel your subscription.
12) Resolving disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA (without regard to conflict of laws rules). You and Pocket Irrigator consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California. Nothing here limits your right to seek public injunctive relief where such rights can’t be waived.
